1702 I’On Ave

1702 I’on Avenue, Sullivans Island, was the Original Commandant’s Quarters, of the military base. General George Marshall occupied these quarters when designing the Marshall Plan.

There were four major renovations done to the home. The home was rewired and most plumbing was redone along with new HVACs which includes seven separate zones. A portion of the upstairs porch was enclosed to create two new bedrooms, the kitchen was remodeled, all bathrooms were remodeled and a new copper roof was installed on the porches including copper gutters and downspouts.
