In 2007 this home was gutted to the studs. The foundation was redone and the crawl space was sealed & dehumidified.
All new water, gas & waste lines were installed. The entire slate roof was removed, the substrate repaired & sealed, & the salvaged slate re-installed. The new roof (over dining & master bath) is standing seam copper.
The original windows have been repaired & resealed. Where there are new windows they are Marvin, insulated glass, DP rated & have impact glass where operable shutters were not feasible. Original operable shutters were re-installed. There are new walnut floors throughout the living areas, with marble floors in the baths and showers. Bath and kitchen countertops are marble, except for kitchen island, which is zebra wood.
All 4 fireplaces were completely rebuilt and are operable for either gas or wood. The chimneys above the roof line were completely rebuilt.
